Swedish Massage
A Flowing, relaxing massage that addresses your entire body for full muscle
relaxation. You will experience light to medium pressure in order to release
toxins, increase oxygen levels, and improve circulation. In addition to
being a great relaxation massage it's also therapeutic and a great addition
to your overall health regimen.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deeper, healing pressure which helps alleviate pain and tension in the
deeper muscles and connective tissues. Although some discomfort maybe
felt, the benefits of this massage are reduction of muscle spasm, chronic
tension and/or chronic pain and increased range of motion.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy is a system of soft tissue manipulation techniques
that seek to balance the nervous system with the musculoskeletal system.
Neuromuscular Therapy releases trigger points in muscles, and helps correct
muscular imbalances that can cause pain and discomfort. Additionally,
Neuromuscular Therapy uses soft tissue manipulations on tendons and other
connective tissue to assist in muscle balance. Neuromuscular Therapy also
addresses nerve pain caused by pressure from soft tissues including muscles,
fascia, and tendons. Neuromuscular Therapy is effective in helping with
conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), Temporomandibular Joint
Dysfunction (TMJD), Back pain, Neck pain, and Sciatica.
Sports Massage
If you are working out a log, planning a sporting event, or heavy workout,
this is a great way to condition your muscles and help to avoid or reduce
soreness and fatigue. Athletes of all skill levels can benefit from Sports
massage.
Trigger Point Therapy
Your therapist may recommend this technique to help loosen and reduce
knots in the belly of the muscle which are usually brought on over time
and caused by excessive stress, hyper-extension, or injury. Relief will
be achieved as the trigger points are released, resulting in increased
blood flow and decreased lactic acid or toxins.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage therapy is one of the most relaxing, most luxurious
massages you can get. Heated river stones are held in the massage therapist's
hands and used to perform the massage strokes. The heated stones make
stress and tension seem to melt away.
